Collins Lane Art was established in 2001. Pottery is both wheel-thrown and slab-formed functional pottery. I have been working with clay for over 30 years and have been cooking even longer so this work reflects a blend of both these passions.
I believe that pottery should be functional as well as beautiful, so I feature many multi-functional pieces such as the Baker/Server, Veggie Steamer/Serving Bowl, Pasta/Pie Plate and Wine Cooler/Utensil Holder. Plates, platters, serving bowls, mugs, tumblers and even complete dinner services are also available. Because all of the pottery is oven, microwave and dishwasher safe these pieces are intended to go from the oven directly to the dining table..... well designed for preparation and beautiful for presentation! Recipes are also included with many of these items and they make perfect gifts for all occasions.
